This will be an international ‘market place’ where – according to commonly agreed rules – members of different member states can efficiently and safely exchange valuable know-how between each other, and jointly develop EPC-models and SPIN-concepts.

The Energy Efficiency Network Europe has been created in July 2015 as a pilot project. The objective of this network  is to foster and facilitate cross border partnerships for innovative energy services between energy service providers in the European Union. While the initial focus in 2015 of this network is on the mandatory energy audits for large enterprises and the creation of a pan-European capacity to conduct energy efficiency audits, the focus will shift to innovative services such as Energy Performance Contracting and the creation of international SPINs to develop and market these services.
